Disclaimer. The often used trail to Pagosa Peak described here is not an reliable path nor is it proven at the Forest Service map. Exercise excessive warning, go back and forth with a good map and watch out. This map isn't for navagation and is shown best to give course to the path.

The quickest course is north on Piedra Road. Turn left on McManus Road and on to Black Mtn. Road. The jap route is north on Fourmile Road from the center of downtown and left on Plumtaw Road. This is a longer slower force.

The same old (if not official) path that most of the people take to climb Pagosa Peak is situated on Black Mountain road, an get admission to course off Plumtaw road.
